While narrating her plight to journalists at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House Kaduna, Saidu thanked God for sparing her life despite the various invasions of the area by daredevils who killed or kidnapped family members, friends and relatives, and destroyed their home, in many cases leaving nothing behind in the process.

Birth registration: NPC registers 13,023 babies in 6 Kaduna LGs On Kindly Share This Story: The National Population Commission (NPC) has registered 13,023 babies in 60 local communities in six Local Government Areas of Kaduna state. Hajiya Adams Uthman, the state Director of NPC, made this known while briefing newsmen on the conduct of community reorientation and grassroots dialogue on improved birth registration in the six local government areas of the state. She said that the exercise was carried out in Jema’a, Kaduna South, Kaduna North, Chikun, Igabi and Sabin Gari. The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that the programme was organised by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in collaboration with the NPC with support from the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF)

27,000 persons displaced in Kaduna local govt – FG

Punch Newspapers Sections Godwin Isenyo, Kaduna The Federal Commissioner in charge of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, Senator Bashir Mohammed, has said no fewer than 27,121 persons, including women and children have been displaced by bandits in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Mohammed made this known at the inauguration of the symbolic  distribution of relief materials to internally displaced person in the area. Items such as semovita, maize, beans, rice, palm oil, vegetable oil, local energy stoves, mats, plastic bowls, plastic buckets, blankets, grinding machines and sewing machines were distributed by the commission.
