States around the country are increasingly taking the lead on flooding and resilience. In light of the recent activity, innovation, and demand for guidance in this topic area, the Virginia Coastal Policy Center (VCPC) at William & Mary Law School has joined the newly launched State Resilience Partnership.
This partnership brings together a network of 15 organizations convened by the American Flood Coalition and The Pew Charitable Trusts united by a commitment to support state leaders as they craft resilience strategies. These organizations representing environmental groups, academic and research organizations, businesses, local leaders, and more will work to fill knowledge gaps and support state leaders as they answer key questions about state resilience.
