Lake Michigan plastic pollution poses ecological and social threats As advocates push for clarity within Evanston’s Climate Action and Resilience Plan, local researchers and advocates are raising alarm about the growing social and ecological effects of plastic pollution in Lake Michigan. Chagrin Falls Schools students happy to be back in full-day, in-person learning Ed Wittenberg, cleveland.com CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio – The Chagrin Falls Schools’ return to full-day, in-person instruction is going well so far, Superintendent Robert Hunt told the Chagrin Falls Board of Education Wednesday (Jan. 20). “It’s been a very smooth couple of days, with our 7-12 students reintegrating into the buildings,” Hunt said. “We’ve seen an increase in numbers at the high school of students taking advantage of the open campus at lunch, so the numbers are very manageable.” Board President Phil Rankin asked Hunt what the return to full-day, in-person learning has been like for grades 7-12 students, who have been in the district’s hybrid model most of the school year.
