Oregon State Selected as Eight Seed in NCAA Tournament

Mar 15, 2021 CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women s basketball team has been selected as a No. eight seed and will face ninth-seeded Florida State on Sunday in the First Round of the NCAA Women s Basketball Tournament, as was announced during Monday s Selection Show.   The Beavers first round game will take place at Strahan Arena on the campus of Texas State in San Marcos, Texas. The NCAA Division I Women s Basketball Committee announced in February that San Antonio and the surrounding region will play host to the entire 2021 NCAA Division I Women s Basketball Championship.   Should Oregon State win on Sunday, it would face either one-seeded South Carolina or 16-seed Mercer in the second round of the tournament on Tuesday.
