Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is all set to launch the Jeep Compass facelift in India on next week on 7 January, 2021. The new SUV is coming to our shores only a few weeks after it was showcased at Guangzhou International Motor Show in China. The new model adds a handful of cosmetic tweaks but a new interior layout to give the SUV a new lease of life, especially after the compact SUV segment in India has received new competitors in the form of MG Hector, Tata Harrier, etc. The existing Compass has been on sale in India since 2016, so a midlife refresh is much needed

The Compass facelift has been revealed in China and dealers here have started accepting bookings.
The Jeep Compass facelift is expected to be launched on Jan 23, 2021. Dealers are said to have started accepting bookings for the new model.
The updated Compass was unveiled at the 2020 Guangzhou International Motor Show. The SUV looks similar to the outgoing model but gets subtle changes like a slimmer grille, a new front bumper and LED headlamps.
On the inside, it gets a redesigned dashboard with a floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that gets Amazon Alexa support, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and can receive over-the-air updates. The SUV also gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.
