China, Uzbekistan enhance cooperation in tourism
AKIPRESS.COM - The Institute for Tourism Development and the Maritime-Continental Silk Road Cities Alliance (China) held a virtual meeting within the framework of the project on the development of tourism for poverty reduction, UzA reported. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan, leading experts in tourism and culture of China and Uzbekistan, as well as tourism experts from Japan and Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, the parties discussed important issues in the development, restoration, and promotion of tourism and culture. The experience of China in the recovery of tourism as a result of the impact of the pandemic was presented.

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) has developed the #Safetravel protocols in collaboration with tourism experts, governments, healthcare and other professionals to join forces to revitalize the tourism industry and develop meaningful action plans. Protocols are aligned with common standards to ensure the safety of private-sector employees and tourists.
