In March, NCEF awarded more than $9 million in grants to almost 40 local nonprofits whose work improves the lives of at-risk children in Collier County.
The money came from the 2021 festival, which comprised an online auction Jan. 22-Feb. 2, an hour-long broadcast on WINK-TV detailing NCEF’s mission and impact on Jan. 30 and an invitation-only virtual auction following the televised events. The event pivoted to a digital format to accommodate concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic
The digital festival raised about $7.4 million, while the online auction raised $678,000. Since its inaugural event in 2001, the NWWF has raised nearly $220 million.
In February, NCEF CEO Maria Jimenez-Lara applauded the community’s support.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - The Downtown Wichita Falls Farmers Market will present the Winter Wine Festival 2021 on Saturday.
Organizers said several wineries will be on site as well as vendors, fresh food and food trucks.
This event is located at 713 Ohio Avenue and will feature tastings from area wineries, local music, games, delicious food and “home-grown fun for the whole family.”
The wine tasting event is from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This year s Winter Wine Festival will feature offerings from more than seven local wineries, local food options, live music, and plenty of home-grown fun for the whole family. It is the Downtown Farmers Market, after all.

One of the biggest fundraisers in town needs your help in what it’s calling a “relief and recovery mission” right now. But this year, the challenge to raise money is just as great as the need.
In 2020, the Naples Children and Education Foundation raised a whopping $20 million in its largest fundraiser: the Naples Winter Wine Festival, known for bringing in bands like Kool and the Gang and extravagant auction items. All the money goes to more than four dozen child-focused local nonprofits.
