A man was stabbed multiple times in Cold Lake North on the afternoon of May 11.
The man, who had non-life threatening injuries, was transported to hospital by a family member, after Cold Lake RCMP arrived on the scene.

The stabbing was the result of an altercation between two men, according to an RCMP May 12 news release.
Police arrested 23-year-old Tyler Rowan in relation to the stabbing. He was charged with aggravated assault, possession of body armor, possessing a weapon contrary to a court prohibition order and failing to comply with a court undertaking.

Before they are even handed the keys to their new home on Cold Lake First Nation, Sara Piche and David Coker are standing in the backyard planning to extend the deck.

Housing is hard to come by on CLFN. There are only about 300 homes on the reserve, but there are 3,000 band members, and, as a result, Chief Roger Marten said a lot of people had to leave the reserve years ago, because there simply was no room .

About four per cent of Cold Lake residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
As of press time Sunday, there were 26 active COVID-19 cases in the city. Per capita that is 131 cases per 100,000 people, according to statistics collected by Alberta Health Services.
