Budgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], April 17 (ANI): In a joint operation with the Army, police arrested three terrorist associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Incriminating materials were recovered from their possession, police said. Police in Budgam along with 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) arrested three terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT and recovered incriminating materials from their possession, said the police.
On Wednesday, two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists, along with three over ground workers (OGWs), were arrested by Kulgam Police in Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)

A Special Police Officer (SPO), engaged in South Kashmir s Kulgam district was arrested and terminated from service for glorifying terrorism through social media. She has been booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
She was also charged with obstructing government officials from discharging their duties. The arrested SPO had reportedly created hurdles while cops were conducting a search operation after getting information about the presence of a group of terrorists in the area.

As per police officials, on April 14, a search operation was launched after getting specific input regarding the presence of terrorists in Karewa Mohallah of village Frisal. During the course of the search, the search party was obstructed by a woman identified as Saima Akther daughter of Ghulam Nabi Rah, a resident of Frisal of Kulgam.

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday issued the following statement regarding the rape case of Kulgam district saying that police station Qazigund received a written complaint from an individual alleging therein that her daughter (name withheld) was raped by three persons at Bonigam Qazigund with the help of a woman of Damjen area.
A police spokesman in a statement said that the said offence as per the complainant surfaced during the course of a medical examination where she was found pregnant.
“On receipt of the complaint, a proper case vide FIR No. 61/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Qazigund and investigation was initiated,” said the spokesman.
