A former Benton County pastor and basketball coach has been indicted on various child sex charges.
Joshua Henley, 32, of Indiana, will appear in court next week in Jackson after being indicted, Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph C. Murphy Jr. announced Wednesday.
Henley, a former pastor of the Holladay Church of Christ in Holladay, Tennessee, as well as a girl’s basketball coach at Holladay Elementary School from 2017 to March 2021, served as a youth pastor in Indiana at the time of his arrest.
Investigators said Henly used “using three minors to create sexual abuse material” and transported a minor interstate to engage in criminal sexual activity, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.
