Memorial to Detroit murder victim vandalized multiple times
DETROIT – A grieving family said someone vandalized the memorial for 22-year-old Rashad Kimball, who was shot and killed in November on Detroit’s east side.
The family also said someone seems to continuously rip up Crime Stoppers posters asking people to call in with tips. Kimball’s father, Michael Horner, said every time it happens, the emotional wounds are reopened yet once again.
Since Kimball’s murder in the parking lot of his East Lafayette apartment building, Horner has been grieving and looking for answers.

DETROIT – The family of a 37-year-old man is seeking answers three years after he was shot and killed on Detroit’s southwest side.
The incident happened on March 31, 2018, in the area of Michigan Avenue and Lawndale Street.
According to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, Gary Williams received a call from an unknown person about attending a birthday party for a mutual friend. Family said Williams left the party at about 2 a.m., and after getting into his vehicle, a black SUV pulled up with someone firing shots, killing the father of four.

DETROIT – A Detroit family is seeking justice nearly two years after a 21-year-old man was shot and killed.
Dion Bridges was shot at a home on July 4, 2019, on Schoenherr Street near East Seven Road. Family members said Bridges was at a barbecue when someone started shooting from a nearby alley.
Bridges’ mother Jerreece Bridges is asking anyone with information to come forward.
“Taking his life, it just feels like you just crushed our life. We don’t know if the grieving will ever stop, but we want justice. The person out there who knows they did this, I don’t know how they can live with themselves,” Jerreece Bridges said. “We want justice and that’s all we’re praying for.”
