€6m funding announced for road projects in south Longford

The plan which was approved at the recent online meeting of the MD allows for €2 million euro to be spent on the Main Street in Ballymahon which is due to have a major streetscape overhaul. Half a million euro is also to be spent on resurfacing Main Street in Lanesboro and carrying out work on some footpaths, and that project is going to tender shortly.
