New York is extending the vax and scratch coronavirus vaccine incentive program through Friday.
There are now ten new vaccine sites where people can get a free lottery ticket worth $ 20 if they get their first shot this week. The new sites include at Crossgates Mall in the former Lord and Taylor store. The top prize is $ 5 million, but folks have a one in nine chance of winning some amount of money. This is one of a number of incentives offered by the state to try and get the vaccination rate up.
