LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) A group of area students have come together to design and create a traveling public art project, which will be on display this weekend in downtown La Crosse.
Black Student Leaders and Leaders Igniting Transformation have collaborated with local artist Breckin Sargeant to bring to life their vision for a public part piece. The painting will be created from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Larson’s General on Main Street in downtown La Crosse, where it will stay for about a month. The piece will then be displayed at the La Crosse Public Library Main Branch, People’s Food Co-op and River City Gallery.
