Game of Thrones legend Emilia Clarke is boarding the MCU for the Disney+ series
Secret Invasion! Her part is being kept under wraps. This will not be Clarke’s first big franchise role outside of
Thrones, having already worked with Disney on 2018’s
Solo: A Star Wars Story, as well as portraying Sarah Connor in the 2015 misfire
Terminator Genisys.
First published in June 2008 and spanning eight issues penned by Brian Michael Bendis, penciled by Leinil Francis Yu, inked by Mark Morales and colored by Laura Martin, the crossover series revealed a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls, a group of alien shapeshifters who have secretly replaced many superheroes in the Marvel Universe with impostors over a period of years, prior to the over invasion.

With so much work to do to establish this time period if the comic is your first experience with it, Cavan Scott has been doing a solid job with it.
