Dyfed-Powys Police have seen an increase in community concerns of speeding across the Force area. The funding will also enable Go Safe to encourage increased volunteer engagement in communities as they look to develop more CSW teams. Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said: “We are hearing more concerns of speeding in our communities these days, and as a result we are encouraging more volunteers and partners to work with the Police to improve road safety. “The Welsh Government are proposing to introduce 20mph speed limits into every residential areas in Wales by 2023, which will inevitably cause an increase in demand for the Police and Go Safe.

Do you know this man? Police have released an e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with an attempted theft of a dog. The attempted theft took place on the Millennium Coastal Path, near Bynea, Carmarthenshire. At around lunchtime on Friday, February 5, two men approached a dog walker near the Bynea nature reserve. The men made attempts to take the dog. However, the victim was able to retrieve his dog and immediately reported the incident to police. The man in the e-fit is described as being in his 40s, around 6ft tall, of stocky build, and wearing light blue jeans and a dark puffer jacket. The second man is described as being in his 20s, around 5ft 6in tall, and wearing similar clothing.
