A man wanted in the fatal shooting of his roommate in Sunrise last month has been taken into custody, police said Friday.
A warrant on a second-degree murder charge had been issued for 31-year-old Jeavoye A. Jones after the killing of Mark McNab, Sunrise Police said.

Records showed Jones was arrested by police in Plantation, but no other details of the arrest were known.
Police said Jones and McNab had been roommates for years before the April 22 shooting.

SUNRISE, Fla. – The family of a Sunrise man say there is a void that feels unfillable since their loved one was shot and killed. They made a public plea on Thursday for the person responsible to turn himself in to police.
The shooting happened on April 22 in Sunrise. At the time, police would only release limited information that one man was shot multiple times by another man. They said the victim died from his injuries at the hospital.
