Lawson s Dry Hills group marketing manager Belinda Jackson said Vinyl in the Vines had received a “huge level of interest”, with more than 500 people ‘interested’ or ‘going’ to the event on its Facebook page. “People are excited about digging out their vinyl and swapping, buying or selling their collections, or just listening to some fantastic playlists. “We ll definitely be going ahead with the event, but its timing may be in question now . People can rest assured we will follow the rules that apply to each [alert] level. If that means a postponement, we will do that, until such a time that the Government dictates we can host it.”

Variations 1 (marine farming) and 1A
(finfish farming) to the environment plan were publicly
notified in early December. This came after two years of
work by the Marlborough Aquaculture Review Working Group
(MARWG). The MARWG included members of the marine farming
industry, Marlborough Sounds’ community organisations and
central government agencies. The Ministers of Fisheries,
Conservation, Environment and Transport, along with Te Tau
Ihu iwi were also consulted.

Former INL Director named to Idaho Power board

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI)-Former Idaho National Laboratory Director Dr. Mark Peters has been named to the board of directors of Idaho Power and IDACORP.
“Dr. Peters is a national leader in the energy industry,” said Lisa Grow, IDACORP and Idaho Power President and Chief Executive Officer. “His innovative and strategic approach combined with a unique expertise in energy and cybersecurity make him an excellent addition to our board.”
Peters is currently serving as Executive Vice President for Laboratory Operations at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Battelle, he held multiple leadership positions with Argonne National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory. He led INL as President of Battelle Energy Alliance from 2015 through 2020.
