GREENFIELD The Northampton man accused of vehicular homicide in connection with Tuesday’s hit-and-run on Route 2 in Shelburne has been ordered held on $25,000 cash bail. Conditions of release include surrendering his driver’s license and not leaving.

Montague man pleads not guilty to child pornography charges

NORTHAMPTON – A Montague man who was arrested Monday on four charges of possession of child pornography pleaded not guilty in his arraignment in Greenfield District Court.
Jacob R. Wrisley, 40, formerly of Shelburne, was arrested after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sparked a police investigation, said Laurie Loisel, spokeswoman for Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan.
“After executing search warrants at Wrisley’s home and car and interviewing Wrisley, police placed Wrisley under arrest at about 3:10 p.m. Monday,” she said.
He was held overnight on $100,000 bail.

GREENFIELD A Millers Falls man pleaded not guilty to four counts of possession of child pornography in Greenfield District Court on Tuesday.
Jacob R. Wrisley, 40, was arraigned Tuesday before Judge Mark Pasquariello, who set bail at $2,500 cash with conditions that Wrisley have no unsupervised contact with any child under 18, including by electronic platforms; have no overnight stays where children under 18 are present; not work or volunteer for any organization that serves children under 18; report according to a schedule to the probation department; and notify probation if he moves.
According to a press release from the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, the case was continued to June 17 for a pretrial conference.
