WICHITA – Even though the tinsel is put away and the nutcrackers are long gone, eggnog is back on the shelves in parts of Kansas.
Last week, Hiland Dairy started making the tasty drink just in time for Easter. Along with milk, cream, cinnamon and a mixture of spices, Hiland s favorite holiday beverage will once again be on the supermarket shelves.
According to Mark Ballenger, Hiland s District Sales Manager, the first run was for 24,000 units. After this initial batch, the dairy in downtown Wichita will continue to make the delicacy through the end of April. And if sales continue, the company might continue making the tasty treat in early May as well.
