Mark Seymour, opening the prosecution case before a jury at Chelmsford Crown Court, said: “This is an allegation of drug smuggling - moving drugs, in this case Class A, across borders and in this case on a massive scale.”

Oscar Sarmiento is a professor of Modern Languages at SUNY Potsdam. He s a published poet and regular contributor to the music scene of the North Country playing shows with the Caramelo Trio and a larger group named Piquant! He came to the U.S. from Chile in 1986 attending school in Oregon where he got his Phd. He says he s eternally grateful that he brought his guitar with him on that trip.

This weekend a series of Roady4Roady events will take place all over Australia.
10 cities will host performances including Ambassador Missy Higgins with Mark Seymour in Melbourne. Members of GANGgajang in Sydney, 1927’s Eric Weideman in Perth and Spy Vs Spy in Newcastle.
