Sen. John Hoeven, R- N.D., called the ADM soybean crushing plant planned for Spiritwood a four-for-one project combining North Dakota s agriculture and energy industries, during a presentation to Stutsman County leaders Thursday.
The project has a preliminary cost estimate of $350 million and will be constructed at the current location of the now vacant Cargill Malt plant. Officials intend to have the plant completed in time to accept the 2023 soybean crop from farmers in the area, according to information released by Hoeven at th
