Brentwood voters will cast their votes Tuesday for the municipal election that will determine the fate of the city s commission.
Three seats are open on the board. Four candidates are vying for the open spots, including the incumbents aiming to hold their seats and one challenger.
Current commissioners Mark Gorman and Regina Smithson, Mayor Rhea Little III and challenger Gina Gunn are running. Gorman has been on the commission since 2013; Smithson since 1993; and Little since 2009.
This is Gunn s first time running for an elected position. She previously served on the committee dedicated to celebrating Brentwood s 50th anniversary as a city.
