Below Deck Down Under has now been confirmed as a spin-off by NBC.
TV Tonight, filming was due to begin in the Whitsundays at the end of April.
Streaming on NBCU’s Peacock, the series promises to showcase the “upstairs / downstairs of a real working super-yacht”.
“The usual five-star service will be even more difficult for these adventurous yachties who will have access to a glamorous lifestyle and exotic perks that few people will ever experience,” according to a press release.

NBCUniversal’s streaming platform Peacock has commissioned spin-offs based on its formats Making It and Top Chef, while renewing Below Deck Down Under for a third season.
Comedian Amy Poehler will swap the workshop for the kitchen in a six-part Christmas special titled Baking It, a take on carpentry series Making It which she hosts with former Parks & Recreation co-star Nick Offerman.
Baking It will see two home bakers compete to impress a panel of grandmothers and win a cash prize. Both Making It and Baking It are created by Poehler and Nicolle Yaron.
