Some family members of murder victims are coming out in support of the effort to recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom, arguing his policies have made the state a more dangerous place.
Rescue California, the group advocating for the Sept. 14 recall, joined with Crime Victims United and the family members of murder victims for a small rally on the steps of the state Capitol on Tuesday to argue that California’s top Democrat is too soft on crime and is failing victims. The same groups held a similar event in the afternoon in front of San Francisco City Hall.
