Judge sentences hit-and-run driver to jail, community service in crash trauma center

TAMPA, Fla. - The family of Chandra Renee Gant is still seeking answers from Jeremiah Jimerson. The 23-year-old is accused in the 40-year-old’s death.
At a virtual plea hearing Tameka Clark, the victim s cousin confronted Jimerson. I just want to ask him why he couldn t call 911 to help her, not just leave her there? She probably could still be here today, questioned Clark.
Jimerson was stone-faced during the questioning. He pleading guilty to leaving the scene of a crash involving death and driving with a suspended license.

TAMPA, Fla. - Patrick Macina wants to get out of jail and would not take no for an answer during a virtual court appearance Monday. I can’t stand another day in jail, man. It sucks so bad, Judge, you have no idea, pleaded Macina.
Macina seemed to think the best way to get his wish was to fire his public defender, Ann Shane. I understand that Mr. Macina wants to represent himself and wants to enter the plea. I can understand why because he wants out of jail and I get that, said Shane.
Mother of child porn suspect: That was me on bad sites this time

TAMPA, Fla. - Prosecutors say Tevan Anthony was busted with child pornography on his computer, and while out on bond, he got busted again.
A forensic search of his home computer allegedly showed someone logged on to child porn sites not long after he was released on bond. Tevanthony35 email had some images of child erotica and had several logins after his bond all day, explained Tampa police officer Julio Tagliani, who conducted the monitoring.
Another email of his allegedly had even more child porn images. Prosecutors say it has Tevan Anthony s digital fingerprints all over it and that’s a violation of his bond. They want to judge to throw him back in jail.
