South Sydney have sealed a one-year deal for Anthony Milford to resurrect his NRL career at the club in 2022.
The 27-year-old five-eighth has been on the outer at the Broncos this season and was told his services would not be required next year with Rabbitohs playmaker Adam Reynolds heading to Brisbane on a lucrative three-year deal.
Milford has played 189 NRL games during his nine-year career
with the Raiders and Broncos, including the 2015 grand final loss, as well as seven Tests for Samoa and two State of Origins for Queensland.
Rabbitohs head of football Mark Ellison was confident Milford could regain his best form next year.

Fallen Broncos star Anthony Milford has found a new home for 2022, officially signing with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The move will see Milford, once the star playmaker at Red Hill, link up with former Brisbane assistant Jason Demetriou, who will take control of the Bunnies next season. We re really excited to have Anthony joining our club in 2022, Souths head of football Mark Ellison said.

Ex-Cronulla coach John Morris will make his return to the NRL ranks next season as assistant to Jason Demetriou at South Sydney.

Current assistant, former Dragons premiership-winner Ben Hornby has also extended his contract at Redfern for another two years.
Morris has kept a low profile since the Sharks told him in April that he would not have his tenure extended beyond 2021, with long-time Roosters assistant Craig Fitzgibbon signed to replace him.
He boasted two finals appearances from as many seasons in charge of the Sharks under the duress of salary cap penalties, Bronson Xerri s drugs ban and a brutal injury toll, yet was not seen as the coach to take the club forward by Cronulla s hierarchy.
