Brand-Ward Services and Guru Studio, a leader in children’s entertainment, have detailed a major new collaboration with Warner Music for the popular preschool animated series, True and the Rainbow Kingdom.
The new deal will see Warner Music launch its first True and the Rainbow Kingdom single later this month, which will then be followed by additional singles and albums throughout 2021. It follows the release of TRUE: Tunes, the franchise’s first album which was released by Guru Studios last year. The album garnered over 100,000 streams in the first 30 days.
Warner is expecting to see similar success with its own singles and album release this year.

The Treehouse Stories. In North and South America, the 103 x seven-minute show has been sold to HITN (US), TFO (French-speaking Canada), TVN (Chile) and Pakapaka (Argentina). And European sales are now closed with TV5 Monde, OCS, Bayam and Tfou Max (France), RTS (Switzerland), ETB (Spain), OkkoTV (Russia), ERR (Estonia), HRT (Croatia), RTP (Portugal), Ceska Televize (Czech Republic), Arte Editions (French-speaking Europe) and LTV (Latvia). The Treehouse Stories in the MENA region, and on the streaming side, the series will be available on Ameba (North America) and Azoomee and Da Vinci Kids (globally).

ABC and SBS titles have been nominated in the prestigious Banff Rockie Awards 2021.
6 titles are nominated across various categories:
Bluey, Love on the Spectrum, Revelation, 100% Wolf, First Day for ABC and
Filthy Rich & Homeless for SBS.
Eureka is again nominated for its US production of
Holey Moley.

With over 40 years in the industry, production designer Hans P Bacher is acknowledged as one of the legends in animation film design. He now lives in Singapore where he passes his knowledge to students at the prestigious Nanyang Technological University.
Co-author Sanatan Suryavanshi is an Art Director living in Toronto. A graduate of Sheridan College, Toronto, he attended the Masterclass of Hans Bacher, and has collaborated with Bacher from the start of the production of Vision. Over a period of seven years he has helped to develop the concept, visuals and text. Most recently, Suryavanshi was the Art Director at Guru Studio for Cartoon Saloon’s The Breadwinner, responsible for designing the light and color for the production’s ‘storyworld’ sequences. Prior to this, he was Guru Studio’s lead development designer defining an original look for several projects including True and the Rainbow Kingdom and Midnight.
