A SENIOR Orangeman has condemned horrendous attacks on Orange Hall buildings following a spate of vile incidents. Police are now treating the latest targeting of a building as a hate crime after graffiti was reported this morning. Messages, written on the Parkhead Orange Hall building, say: Six million Jews and it should have been Protestants and The IRA will always be around . Grand Master Jim McHarg said: It s shocking. To be honest with you, that s what we re coming to expect now. It s been happening on a very regular basis to the Orange Halls and not just in Glasgow. The last few attacks have been in the Glasgow area. We had two within 10 days a couple of weeks back, and before that we had the fire - Springburn Orange Halls was set on fire.
By Glasgow Times Reporter Graffiti on a Glasgow Orange Order hall has been slammed as horrendous . The Parkhead building on Quarryknowe Street was targeted in an act of overnight vandalism. The sectarian graffiti reads: The IRA will always be around. Another wall was painted to say Six million Jews and it should have been Protestants . It is understood the vandalism has been reported to the police. Some appalling racist and sectarian graffiti appeared in Glasgow overnight.
