Portland’s very own Black Santa, also known as Leroy Barber, is back visiting cities from Eugene to Seattle, and he’s in a giant 10-foot-tall inflatable globe.
The tour, which is in its third year in Portland, was supposed to be canceled due to coronavirus. But then Barber came across a giant inflatable snow globe on Amazon. He wasn’t sure if the bubble would work, but he put out a GoFundMe request and purchased the bubble anyway. After testing it out in his living room, Barber decided the annual event was a go.
