VanDyke, 48, will take the reins of the digital lead-generating company Feb. 1. He replaces Diane Craig, who became Matt VanDyke has been an exceptional, dynamic leader at Ford, taking on challenges with Bronco and F-150 during the pandemic and leading our Built for America and Built to Lend a Hand campaigns, Kumar Galhotra, Ford s president of the Americas and International Markets Group, said in a statement. His passion and experience in marketing make him an excellent choice for the FordDirect position, and we wish him well.
F-150, Mustang Mach-E Win North American Truck, Utility of the Year

The prophecy has been fulfilled. Two of Ford’s hottest new vehicles have taken two of the top prizes in the 2021 North American Car, Truck, and Utility of the Year awards. The 2021 Ford F-150 earns the title of North American Truck of the Year, and the Mustang Mach-E is the 2021 North American Utility of the Year.

DETROIT Ford Motor Co., with its electric Mustang Mach-E and redesigned F-150 pickup, earned North American utility and truck of the year honors for 2021 from a jury of 50 automotive journalists from U.S. and Canada media.
The Hyundai Elantra took top car honors.
The winners were picked from a group of three finalists in each category.
In addition to the Mustang Mach-E, the other finalists for utility vehicle were the Genesis GV80 and the revived Land Rover Defender. The other truck finalists were the Jeep Gladiator Mojave and Ram 1500 TRX. The Genesis G80 and Nissan Sentra were the other car finalists.

All-electric crossover gives ‘validation’ to Mustang Mach-E. This is the fourth major recognition for Ford’s brand-new electric crossover that will rival Tesla.

Today, the North American Car, Truck and Utility of the Year jury announced the three winners of this prestigious honor. Ford was a finalist in two of the three categories with the Mustang Mach-E up against the Genesis GV80 and the Land Rover Defender. Meanwhile the stalwart Ford F-150 was up against the Ram TRX and the Jeep Gladiator Mojave.
Ford took home two honors with the Mach-E winning the utility of the year while the F-150 took home truck of the year honors for the fourth time.
