IDLEYLD PARK, Ore. The Jack Fire east of Glide has grown to 4,224 acres as of Wednesday, fire officials said on Thursday.
Containment remains at 0% for the fire, which county officials announced on Wednesday is posing and imminent threat to the Dry Creek community.

Crews are working to create containment lines and defensible space, and additional resources are coming in. More than 320 people are working on the fire as of Thursday. Lane and Linn county task forces left Wednesday morning to assist with the firefighting efforts, hours after Benton and Lincoln County task forces were sent out.
