United Way of Onslow County presented checks on Thursday morning to local nonprofit programs as part of community investment.  This year marks the 66th year United Way of Onslow has supported local nonprofits through the Annual Giving Campaign, with this year pledging $165K to 13 local nonprofits supporting 19 programs in Onslow. “We continue to invest in community partners who are addressing immediate relief for Onslow County, including access to food, shelter, healthcare, and emergency financial assistance and planning for the future through education, income, and health initiatives.”, said Raquel Painter, President of United Way of Onslow.  United Way hosted their partner agency’s executive directors and chairmen of the board of directors to breakfast on Thursday where they presented the checks.
