Northern doctors receive prestigious awards

Dr.Maheen Mujutaba of Prince George is the recipient of The BC College of Family Physicians (BCCFP) R2 Resident Award.
Each year the award is given to three exceptional R2s graduating from the UBC Family Practice Residency Program that displays a passion for family medicine while leading by example.
Dr.Mujtaba is an R2 resident at the Prince George family medicine site that trained in Pakistan at the Shifa College of Medicine and became the first female resident lead for the International Medical Graduates in the UBC Family Practices Residency Program.
