RAPID CITY, S.D. “Loads of Love” for those in need were dropped off on Thursday at the Youth and Family Services’ Head Start facility.
Kelsey Sakos of Rapid City applied to be a member of the Billie Sutton Leadership Institute last spring. Part of the application process is to submit a community service proposal, and once Kelsey was accepted, she immediately went to work on her program.
However, due to COVID, what started as an idea for a pop-up pre-school with laundry services evolved into care packages for the families served by YFS.
