Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is urging Republicans to vote against the creation of a Jan. 6 commission. Speaking on the senate floor on Thursday, McConnell argued against the formation of a bipartisan group that would be tasked with looking into the Capitol breach. During his speech, McConnell continued to push that a commission is unnecessary because Jan. 6 is already being investigated by congressional committees and by law enforcement.
