Statue of Unity/Surat: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang paid visit to the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. Tamang was in Gujarat to participate in Dandi Yatra which is organized to mark ‘Aazadi Amrut Mahotsav’. Tamang is accompanied by over 150 persons including Sikkim MLAs, officials, journalists from Sikkim. A dinner function was organized by diamond baron Mahesh Sawani for entire Sikkim delegation last evening. Sikkim Chief Minister in his addresses invited the people of Gujarat to visit Sikkim. He said the highest number of tourists in Sikkim come from Gujarat. The hotels and travel industry in Sikkim love tourists from Gujarat.
