Lochlans Legacy, is all about breaking down barriers and educating others about type 1 diabetes. This charity is hugely important to us as a club, as our chairman, David Smith is a type 1 diabetic and is also an ambassador to the charity. We had a great response from the club with 40 members keen to get involved, said secretary, Hannah Baird. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the club could only meet in groups of six but that sure didn’t stop them, managing to rack up 684 miles and raising £1095. This will be topped up 50% by Sir Tom Hunter, as will all other Kilt Walk donations.
