He said he had been fortunate to coach at a club that supported him completely and it was obvious to him there were much harder jobs in the world. But he said the heavy restrictions placed on football department spending since COVID-19 struck placed enormous pressure on those working in that particular area at clubs.
All clubs have had to let people go and expanded existing jobs as a result of football department caps that were slashed from $9.7 million per year to $6.2 million per year.
