OKLAHOMA CITY -
The Run to Remember will be held in person this year on October 2nd and 3rd. Many have already started training with some runners gathering at the OKC National Memorial and Museum on Saturday. OKC Memorial Marathon Operations Director Jordan Ward joined News 9 on Saturday to talk about the race and how things will look this year.
The two-day event has a 5K, Kids Marathon, Half Marathon, and regular Marathon.

Paris lost a true community servant when Pat Cochran left this Earth last week after a four-month battle with complications of the deadly novel coronavirus that has taken so many of our friends and loved ones.
My heart goes out to her husband, Dr. Ernest Cochran, of Texas Oncology Center, and to their sons, James Paul, Trace and Matthew. And, I lament the loss of one of Godâs true servants, who gave so much back to the community she loved.
Registration for the annual Kids Marathon opens today.
All Lamar County students in grades kindergarten through sixth are invited to participate. Students will run the first mile together on April 5, and the last 1.2 miles together on May 24 at the Trail de Paris. Students will run and log the rest of their miles on their own, and they will earn a race medal when finished.Â
The Kids Marathon is sponsored by Brookshire s, J. Skinner Bakery, Lamar/Delta County Medical Society, Pickle Printing and Print Works.Â
