New Delhi [India], January 23 (ANI): Farmer unions protesting against the new farm laws said on Saturday that they will organise Kisan Gantantra Parade on the Republic Day. Farmers will take out Kisan Gantantra Parade on January 26. Barricades will be opened and we will enter Delhi, Swaraj India leader Yogendra Yadav told the media here.
The farmer unions and police held talks earlier in the day over the proposed Tractor Parade .
Yadav said there has been an agreement on the route and the final details are being worked out.

Even as farmers groups claimed that they have received permission to enter Delhi for their tractor rally that is slated to be staged on Republic Day, the Delhi Police said that talks with the protesting farmers are still in the final stage.
The development came after a meeting of the farmer organisations with the Delhi Police, Haryana Police and UP Police on Saturday regarding the proposed kisan tractor parade by the farmers.
Farmers protesting the central government s new agricultural laws claimed that they had got the permission to enter Delhi for their tractor rally that is slated to be staged on Republic Day.

NEW DELHI/BATHINDA: Protesting farmers will enter the capital and hold ‘Kisan Gantantra Parade’ (Farmer Republic Day), driving tractors on five different routes covering around 100 km, on January 26 with the Delhi Police on Saturday finally allowing them to hold the march in a peaceful manner.
Farmers will, however, not be allowed to remain in the city after their tractor march, having trolleys as tableaux, depicting state of farmers and farming in India. They will have to leave the capital and return to the border points where they have been stationed since November 26. Police will remove barricades at Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders for the march on January 26.
