Thank you | Sonoran News

Dear Parents, Community and CCUSD Staff, After 47 years in education, I will be retiring at the end of this month. Our family moved to Cave Creek from the Midwest 26 years ago. We chose to build our home in the Cave Creek Unified District after researching districts and hearing from so many that CCUSD was a unique and special district. We were not disappointed and 26 years later, I would again choose CCUSD for my own children. I have been so fortunate to hold the position of CCUSD Superintendent since 2008, coming to the district in 2004 as the Associate Superintendent of Teaching and Learning after being a principal in urban districts in Phoenix and in Illinois. I have had the privilege to have seen and experienced so many amazing accomplishments in our district over the past 17 years due to the incredibly talented and caring staff members in our schools and departments. I have been extremely proud and grateful to have worked among such dedicated colleagues.
