Bridges and Glasper s subdued and jazzy “Born Again is a real highlight, as is the moody and atmospheric “Motorbike.”
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Vigo County Deputy has been hospitalized after being attacked Saturday morning.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says Jonathan Crabb had a warrant out for his arrest and was found in the area of Lafayette and East Hollywood Avenues.
The deputy said Crabb ran toward him yelling ‘shoot me’ and started an altercation. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department says officers with the Terre Haute Police Department were nearby and responded after hearing the struggle over 911 radio traffic. One of the law enforcement officers on the scene deployed a taser on Crabb.
Both the deputy and Crabb were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Sheriff John Plasse said Saturday afternoon that the Deputies’ injuries were not severe or life-threatening. The name of the Deputy has not yet been released.

Itâs good branding for Bridges, who has always presented himself and his music as timeless, which is to say, of a better time, somewhere back in the sepia-toned 20th century. The sense of place suggested by a studio on Santa Monica Boulevard would seem to harken back to that time, and it sets the tone for Bridgesâ Hollywood record, which is what this album seeks to be.
