Cumberland County man pleads guilty, takes deal for 5- to 10-year jail term in child-sex case
Updated Jan 19, 2021;
A West Shore man struck a deal Tuesday to plead guilty to molesting an 11-year-old girl in return for a 5- to 10-year prison sentence.
Cumberland County Judge Christylee Peck accepted that deal as Travis Reale, 24, of East Pennsboro Township, entered his pleas to felony charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors.
Reale could have faced an even harsher prison term had he been convicted at trial on more dire child-sex charges, including rape of a child and aggravated indecent assault, that were filed against him by police in East Pennsboro and Hampden townships.
