Operations Officer at the
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Operations Officer is to undertake duties, in compliance with regulatory requirements, for the delivery of all trading, post-trade and CSD services to securities business clients of the ECSE Group.
The basic responsibilities of this position include:
• Servicing intermediary firms, clearing banks and other CSD participants on intermediation issues, including handling Members’ queries and requests, and coordinating the Intermediaries’ Working Group;
• Regularly contacting clients to discuss the client’s account or issue, answer questions or arrange meetings, handle or escalate client complaints and provide resolutions.
• Performing back-office duties such as general filing and documentation of Group’s correspondence and client services records, identifying and compiling market information for internal and external clients; and, assisting with applications t
• Developing policies and procedures and providing the required training to staff to facilitate the efficient provision of custody services.
• Ensuring the collection of executed agreements, applicable AML/KYC documentation and the completion of required tasks to facilitate the successful on-boarding of clients, including the proper transfer of assets to the custodian, to avoid breach of applicable agreements and regulations.
• Where necessary, approving transactions (eg trade settlements, fund transfers, securities transfers) in a timely manner to satisfy client and regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with periodic reporting requirements for regulators and clients; the provision of any additional information requested and the resolution of client queries.
Business Development Professionals to join the team at the
Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE), Basseterre, St. Kitts.
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to, in conjunction with the Managing Director, develop and implement marketing and business development plans for the achievement of the revenue goals for the ECSE Group.
The basic responsibilities of this position include:
• Assisting the Managing Director in the planning and implementation of the Marketing, Education and Awareness Programme designed to advance the strategic priorities of the ECSE Group;
• Developing comprehensive knowledge of the Group, the industry, and markets in which it operates, through desk and market research to identify new business opportunities and developing innovative strategies to retain existing and attract new business.
