Motorists will have to find another way around East Racine street in Janesville for the next couple of months.
City Engineer Mike Payne says safety improvements are happening between Forest Park Boulevard and Randall Avenue, and traffic signal safety improvements are happening at the intersection of East Racine Street and Randall Avenue.
Payne says lead water services are also being replaced at various locations between Main Street and Randall Avenue.
Residents and business owners are invited to learn more about the projects during a virtual informational meetings from 6:00 p.m until 6:40 p.m Thursday, June 10th.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Season passes are now available for water attractions through South Bend Venues Parks & Arts.
Guests can now purchase passes for the East Race, the Potawatomi Park Community Pool, and the Kennedy Water Playground.
Individual pool passes for Potawatomi and Kennedy are $60 while family pool passes are $120.
Kayak season passes for the East Race are $50 and rafting season passes are also $50.
South Bend offers summer fun at multiple locations around the area, including splashpads, aqua aerobics, and swimming lessons.
