The U.S. Treasury today released the breakdown of how more than $350 billion in Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds will be distributed.
Under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments can spend the money to:
Support urgent COVID-19 response efforts to continue to decrease spread of the virus and bring the pandemic under control;

EAST FELICIANA - Louisiana State Fire Marshal deputies are investigating a mobile home fire that claimed the life of a man on the night of May 6.
According to The Bluff Creek Fire Department responded to a call for a mobile home fire in the 12000 block of Robins Road in Clinton. Firefighters later located the body of a man in the kitchen.

SLAUGHTER, La. (WAFB) - Two people were injured when a small plane crashed at an airfield in the city limits of Slaughter Monday, April 26, according to East Feliciana Parish Sheriff Jeff Travis.
Sheriff Travis said his agency assisted the Slaughter Police Department in responding to the crash.
One person was transported to an area hospital by helicopter and another person was transported by ambulance.
The sheriff said officials in East Feliciana Parish notified the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the crash and federal officials are currently en route to Slaughter to investigate the crash.
This week, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards announced that the state of Louisiana has received approximately $216 million to be allocated for road and infrastructure projects throughout the state. This is part of the $1.4 trillion 2020 Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act passed by Congress last year.
According to a press release from Governor John Bel Edwards Office, $155 million is to be used at the state s discretion, $30 million specifically for bridge repair and/or replacement, $20 million for the state’s large metro areas and $11 million for electric vehicle charging infrastructures.
