Jaylene Ingle

 Jaylene Ingle, 85, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. She was born to the late J.W. and Reba Johnson Snyder on Jan. 25, 1936. Jaylene was a lifelong member of North Cleveland Church of God. She served on the Christian Education Board as chairperson of the Children’s Committee and taught in the two-year-old nursery for about 25 years. Jaylene was a leader in the Deaconess Ministry, worked and coordinated with the Greeters/Ushers Ministry, and coordinated a large volunteer effort for special projects. Jaylene worked at the YMCA as their office manager for 28 years. She also controlled the scholarship program and continued to work with that program part-time after retirement for 15 years.

Friday, May 14, 2021 11:27 am Connie Sue Dixon, 65, of Cleveland, departed this life on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Born on March 25, 1956, to the late B.T. and Liddie Johnson Dixon, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She loved going to church, picnicking in Reliance and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Dixon. Left behind to cherish her memory are her brother, Alfred Dixon (Mamie); sisters: Linda Boring, Barbara Saint, Judy Rogers; and several extended family and a host of friends.

Wednesday, May 12, 2021 10:58 am Richard “Rick” Lebron Owens, 65, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, in Daytona Beach, Fla. His family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 2 p.m. A complete obituary is forthcoming in the Friday edition of the Cleveland Daily Banner. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 9:55 am Saundra Kay Jennings Rose, 79, of Cleveland, received her heavenly reward on Saturday morning, April 24, 2021. Her final race was won and her healing completed following a lengthy illness. Born on July 6, 1941, in Asheville, N.C., she was the eldest daughter of the Rev. S.E. and Dorothy Jennings. She was a graduate of Huntington High School in West Virginia and Northwest Bible College in Minot, N.D. As the daughter of a minister, Saundra grew up hearing about the love of God and His plan of salvation for anyone who would believe. At a very young age, her maternal grandmother led her to a personal relationship with the Lord. From that time forward, she knew she wanted to spend her life in full-time ministry in hopes of leading others to the same saving grace. Her desire to do so was affirmed when she married her husband, Delbert Rose, and together they served in ministry for nearly 40 years. The Rose Lecture Hall at Lee University was
