Armed robbery suspect extradited from N.C. | News, Sports, Jobs

Terrence Summers LOCK HAVEN–Terrence Summers, 26, has been extradited from South Carolina to answer charges based on an armed robbery at the Fuel On Convenience Store on South Hanna Street on June 21, 2019. Summers is charged with three counts of robbery, one count of theft, two cunt of terroristic threats and one count of simple assault, according to state police. Summers is alleged to have committed an armed robbery of the Fuel On convenience store and stolen several items while holding the store clerk at gunpoint, state police said. Cpl. Jon Wooster of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charges against Summers after forensic DNA testing from the crime scene reportedly matched Summers.

JS man accused of DUI JERSEY SHORE A Jersey Shore man was charged with a DUI on Allegheny Street on Dec. 11 2020, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police. Scott Powell, 56, of 144 Elm St., Jersey Shore, was pulled over by police for allegedly swerving into the opposite lane almost hitting a parked car. According to police, when he was pulled over, there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from the car along with a noticeable empty Coors Light can in the passenger seat and an open 30-pack in the back. Powell performed poorly on two field sobriety tests and refused doing another, according to police. He then allegedly consented to a blood test at Geisinger Hospital in Jersey Shore.

Jersey Shore man charged with DUI Scott Powell, 56, of 414 Elm St., Jersey Shore, allegedly had a BAC of .253% after being pulled over for swerving across lanes of traffic on Allegheny Street Dec. 11 of 2020. Powell allegedly swerved into the opposite lane of traffic and cross the double yellow line on Allegheny Street before it drifted back onto the far-right side of the road before once more swerving into the opposing traffic lane. Powell allegedly swerved across the double yellow line twice and almost hit a parked car, according to Brandy Perchinski, a Tiadaughton Valley Police officer. When Perchinski stopped Powell, she allegedly smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming out of the car. Additionally, an empty Coors Light can sat in the front passenger seat, with an opened 30-pack of Coors Light in the back.

Alleged burglary leads to felony charges for three men: PSP Lamar

Lock Haven, Pa. — An alleged burglary in Lock Haven exposed three individuals to felony charges after a cell phone was seized by state police at Lamar. Clinton County Court records show that Javaun Derion Taylor, 19, of Boalsburg, Bryant Peddigree, 20, Lock Haven, and Donovan Lecky, 19 of Bellefonte all face felonies stemming from an alleged burglary on Dec. 10. PSP Lamar Trooper Zachary Baker said officers responded to a burglary report at 9:30 p.m. at Upperhill Drive in Woodward Township. According to Baker, Melissa Peddigree and her son Bryant Peddigree told officers somebody kicked in the backdoor to the residence. Officers said both accusers witnessed the suspect leave and drive across the Jay Street Bridge. According to the report, Peddigree identified the person who allegedly kicked the door as Taylor.
