41-Year-Old Intruder Breach Las Vegas Airport Security, Climbs Plane Wing Ready for Departure FOLLOW US ON: In an unusual incident, a 41-year-old man climbed onto the wing of a plane preparing to takeoff in Las Vegas, shocking passengers and authorities, US media reports said on Monday. Police arrested Alejandro Carlson after he reportedly got onto the tarmac at McCarran International Airport, ran up to an Alaska Airlines plane and somehow climbed up one of the wings on Saturday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said. The man then moved about the wing for nearly 45 minutes before he fell onto the tarmac, Erin Evans, a passenger on the plane, told ABC News.

Joseph S. Arrunategui is being jailed on suspicion of one count of first-degree robbery. Court records say he was not granted bail during a first appearance hearing, but a defense attorney will be able to readdress bail at his arraignment on Dec. 23. Court records say Arrunategui’s license lists a Battle Ground address.

Louisville Man Arrested After Pursuit – WBIW

(CLARK CO.) – A Louisville man was arrested after a short pursuit early Monday morning. Around Midnight, Clark County dispatch advised that a “boom” truck, allegedly stolen in Kentucky, was possibly en route to the Charlestown, Indiana area. An Indiana State trooper spotted a truck matching the description, traveling eastbound on I-265 near the Clark and Floyd County line. The trooper followed the vehicle as it exited on State Road 62 eastbound and attempted to make a traffic stop; however, the truck failed to stop and fled eastbound on State Road 62. The vehicle struck stop sticks deployed by Troopers and Clark County Deputies on State Road 62 but continued on the highway. The truck then traveled eastbound in the westbound lanes of State Road 62 before finally coming to a stop after running off the south side of State Road 62 just east of Logistics Avenue. The driver exited the vehicle and fled into a wooded area but was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.
